Tica Jul 26 2014 8:03 am Am I the only one that though this movie was pretty bad? I really liked 2 of the songs but the rest were a bit iffy, the actors were also a bit meh and the plot was a bit all over the place and lacking. But I did enjoy the movie and some parts were hilarious and actually pretty genius. I suppose most of this might be because it's aimed at a Chinese audience and this was from 2010 I mean, this is my opinion who knows, one of them might get an oscar... Also, was Poet played by Zhang Junning? Poet was A+ in terms of looks tbh.

Rafa May 20 2011 11:30 pm Not OFTEN does Rafa speak thus of modern society's films...but for a Chinese movie, this film was astounding. I will admit I was a little taken aback by the overly theatric musical performances of the actors at first, but now, I embrace and enjoy it very much. I strongly recommend this film to anyone. Oh, and I'm Chinese. ^_^

Kezia Mar 04 2011 12:47 am wow this movie is soooo coool!! bcoz of that, now i love joe zheng and junning zhang! :) hahaha most that i love was the ending when poet n ning ning sang together on the stage this movie mix little chinese traditional culture with music and romantic too.. don't forget to watch this movie everybody!!!

hohoho Jan 02 2011 3:20 am I just watched it for like, 3/4 part of the movie and I don't wanna continue the rest... it's too theatrical, even for a HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL kind of movie. kind of boring, but still recommend it if you wanna compare it with the original though^^

BUt it's okey... i love this much!!! they really have a good voice.. but it's like more different from the original version.. 2 thumbs up for the different version!! "lucky"!!!!

Lunecee-pyon Nov 20 2010 12:59 am I just watched this and it was actually great. Not better than the original one, but just as great and it rivals the original's goodness. The drama and the chemistry between two leading roles is good too. This is not just a plain remake, and the main couple's voices sound great too! Heck, even better than Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

american remakes lol Apr 30 2010 11:59 am lol yea right they remake a lot asian movies when i say a lot just every single horror moive u see they reamade it like the ring,the eye,shutter,shutter island,one miss call,dark water,the grudge,and the departed, and the most worst remake is Godzilla omg what the hell are u talking about and many many more that i can't think of.............................................
