Plot
"Daijobu 3 Kumi" depicts the interactions between new teacher Shinnosuke Akao, who was born without arms and legs, and the 28 students in his 5th grade class, told from the vantage point of school board member Yusaku Shiraishi (Taichi Kokubun).
Notes
- Based on Hirotada Ototake's autobiographical novel “Daijobu 3 Kumi” (published September 2, 2010 by Kodansha) - detailing his experience becoming a teacher, even though he was born without arms or legs.
- Filming began January 8, 2012 and shot in Shiga Prefecture at a closed school. Filming will finish February, 2012.
