Plot
With news that the Lee Pwan-Keun research office, which was the first place in South Korea to study jazz music theory, would be torn down, colleagues begin a search in Bonghwa County, Gyeongbuk Province for retired trumpet master Kang Dae-Kwan. One winter day, the men reminisce and take out their musical instruments. The men start to play and improvise.
All of these men went through difficult times, but they are the masters of Korea's first generation of jazz music players. The men are almost 80-years-old, but still have the desire and aspiration to play jazz. They are still pursuing their dreams. For them, junior musicians prepare a memorial performance dedicated to these jazz masters. Finally, the first generation of jazz musician masters gather and their last performance begins.
