- Based on Yoko Kamio's Japanese shojo manga series "Hana yori Dango".
- The original Japanese title "Hana Yori Dango" or ""Boys Over Flowers" is a pun on the Japanese old saying "Dumplings over flowers," referring to people who attend Hanami (flower festival), but instead of enjoying flowers, focus more on the materialistic side of the event such as getting food and buying souvenirs.

yeah, the actors all suited their roles pretty well. and I also thought that they kept all the important points of the story - which could have gone completely wrong as well. the acting was of course very cheesy and sometimes really bad, but I think, the film's still worth a watch!

i actually liked it!! sure it was sooo cheesy and the acting was pretty hilarious (oh, and doumyoji's fashion choices.)
But Uchida Yuki was so pretty and suitable for her role... actually all the actors suited their roles i thought.
you should watch it!
