Seishiro Tokai (Kazunari Ninomiya) works as a surgeon at a university hospital. He possesses excellent technique with suture and carries a surgery success rate of 100%. Due to his arrogant attitude and personality, he comes into conflict with those around him.

A new doctor tries to introduce the latest medical device for surgery, which doesn't need a surgeon's hand. Seishiro Tokai is skeptical of the device. He faces the university hospital administration and reveals corruption and hidden past behind the medical device.

Nafeob akfsisgeo Jun 17 2018 1:51 am This drama is very good. It's another proof that Nino is a skilled actor. Being a sarcastic and arrogant doctor is suited him. His smirk kills! I thought that this drama was a copycat of Doctor X but I was wrong. This one is totally different. I like both tho.

duckymakura May 04 2018 10:29 pm This drama once again proves that Arashi is a hoard of skillful actors who can get out from their comfort zone and play a totally different character. For Nino it's kinda as expected from him, but still, seeing him being bratty is somehow satisfying, lol

LT May 03 2018 3:07 pm I agree with Inuma. The Doctors in this drama are violating the first principle of bing a doctor. It can never be a copy of ‘Doctor X’. 大門未知子 puts patients first regardless poor, rich, good or bad. She can ignore high pressure from powerful superio. The interesting things of doctor X is that she is brave enough to againtst traditional political games in Japanes medical culture in order to save any patients. The doctors in Black Pean are totally put personal interests in front of patients even when whose life is in danger.

From this drama we can see one doctor doesn’t have skill and totally relies on the hardware. One doctor has skill but does not care about patients. That is why he would delay the operation in operation room to win his arrogance.
