ep. 71
Ms. Song is at Munsan station all by herself and at night she goes to sleep on one of the chairs. Se-yeong and the other family members are looking for her desperately. Meanwhile, Ji-woo wants her brother to stay home rather than at the studio apartment for Jin-a’s sake. So-young calls Geon-wu and tells him to take Seo-gyeong away as soon as he can. Mr. Yoon meets with Tae-hyeon, who is busy dealing with his company’s bankruptcy, and asks him to lead the education division in his foundation. Tae- hyeon replies that now is not the time due to his situation with Seo-gyeong. However, Mr. Yoon yells at him that he should think of Seo-gyeong first rather than of himself. So-young confronts Seo-gyeong at the hospital and accuses her that Geon-wu might be Wu-ram’s biological father as well.
ep. 72
Se-yeong accidentally reads Jin-a’s diary and goes to see Seo-gyeong at her hospital. Se-yeong asks Seo-gyeong to turn everything back the way it was and that she’ll continue to raise Jin-a. Seo-gyeong becomes silent and thoughtful when she hears from Se-yeong that she could lose both children or gain both. Jin-a becomes lax in her schoolwork and hangs out with the wrong crowd. Tae-hee is in despair since she might have to sell her pharmacy. But she is overcome with emotion when So-young offers to loan her the money to make a move to a different location. Meanwhile, So-young becomes anxious when Seo-gyeong and Tae-hyeon’s divorce proceedings are not moving fast enough to suit her. So she goes to see Mal-ja and tells her that Mr. Yoon is planning to take Wu-ram to the U.S. So-young clips Wu-ram’s nails for him and hides some sample so she can do a DNA test to see if he is really Tae-hyeon’s biological son.
ep. 73
Seo-gyeong tries to persuade Geon-wu that they should go back to their respective families but Geon-wu argues that their love is the most important thing and that they should not give up until they accomplish what they set out to do. When her father calls, Seo-gyeong goes to her home. When she sees Tae-hyeon asleep, she worries about him. Jin-a continues to go to places like internet cafes and Se-yeong becomes worried for her. She begs Jin-a to stop and that she’ll do anything that Jin-a wants. However, Jin-a accuses her of abandoning her. She yells at Se-yeong that she’s not even her real mother and Se-yeong is at a loss for words.
At Geon-wu’s studio apartment, Jin-a unexpectedly meets Seo-gyeong.
ep. 74
While searching for some fabric at the company storage room, Ji-woo and Tae-wook are locked in by the security guard, who thought the room was empty. Stuck there without even their cell phones, they begin to talk and Ji-woo confesses her hurt feelings at how Tae-wook pays more attention to Soon-hae lately. Tae-wook explains that it was a ploy to make Ji-woo jealous and suddenly kisses her.
Mr. Yoon meets with Gyeong-seon and asks her if she still blames him for the loss of her family lands. Then he explains that he wasn’t the one who introduced Geon- wu’s deceased father to gambling that consequently led to the loss. Despite the explanation, Gyeong-seon tells him that she doesn’t want her family to associate with his and asks him for his help in stopping Seo-gyeong and Geon-wu.
ep. 75
Tae-hyeon tells Seo-gyeong to leave him because his business has gone under and that he can’t support her anymore. Then he gives her the divorce papers, which he has signed already. Tae-hee becomes anxious as she worries that Sang-jin has been more attracted to her family wealth than her. And Sang-jin comforts her by telling her that he is coming to like her more and more and that he’ll protect her.
When Ms. Song asks her about her baby, Se-yeong becomes worried that she knows about her pregnancy. Gyeong-seon finds out that Se-yeong has been to Geon-wu’s new apartment to see Jin-a. Gyeong-seon believes God will punish her son for his transgressions. So-young goes to see her friend at a DNA testing lab and asks for a test on Wu-ram and Tae-hyeon.
ep. 76
Mr. Yoon is aware that Tae-hyeon is going through some financial troubles and tries to help but Seo-gyeong stops him saying that Tae-hyeon wouldn’t want his help. Seo-gyeong agrees when her father orders her to get rid of the cottage in Yangpyeong, then she hands him her divorce papers and asks him to process it. Tae-hyeon goes to see his friend who works at a car wash and asks him for a job.
While cleaning, Se-yeong discovers a steel box that Ms. Song had hidden. Ms. Song’s old diary and a letter she wrote to Gyeong-seon before she became senile are inside. Gyeong-seon cries as she reads that Ms. Song acted harsh toward her because she was afraid that Gyeong-seon might runaway due to her husband’s affairs. So-young meets with Tae-hee and talks about her doubts regarding Wu-ram’s parentage.
ep. 77
Se-yeong finds out that Yoon Choon-sik who gave the deeds to Ms. Song was the person responsible for Geon-wu’s father’s death and that that is why Gyeong-seon was so against her son marrying Seo-gyeong. Gyeong-seon repeatedly reads Ms. Song’s diary and feels sad that her mother-in-law didn’t express her love.
Bong-dal and Mal-ja move to a smaller house and they feel sad to leave their home. Tae-hyeon also feels sad as he takes his wedding picture off the wall. He goes to where Mr. Yoon is staying to pick up his son. So-young meets with Se-yeong and shows her Wu-ram’s DNA test results.
ep. 78
So-young tells Se-yeong that Seo-gyeong gave birth to not just a daughter but also a son for Geon-wu and that she should divorce him without any regrets. Se-yeong tells her that it is none of her business but inside she is hurt beyond words.
Se-yeong is so hurt by what she found out that she blows up while talking to Geon- wu but Geon-wu just ignores her. Geon-wu takes Seo-gyeong to an island without telling anyone but he forgot about Jin-a who is alone at his apartment. Se-yeong goes to bring Jin-a home during a thunderstorm. Tae-hyeon thanks So-young for her help with the move and Tae-hee’s new pharmacy.
ep. 79
Se-yeong catches a cold due to her trip in the rain to bring Jin-a home. Since she’s pregnant, she can’t take any medicine and is badly sick. While Geon-wu and Seo- gyeong are at the island having fun reminiscing about their past, Se-yeoung is having nightmares about being abandoned. So-young informs Tae-hee about the horrible results of the DNA test. Tae-hee cannot believe that Wu-ram is not Tae-hyeon’s son and she has trouble controlling her anger. So-young smiles with self-satisfaction as Tae-hee rages about how she’ ll tell Tae-hyeon about this deception herself. Mr. Yoon asks for Gyeong-seon’s help in locating Geon-wu and Seo-gyeong. He asks for her trust as they endeavor to keep their children from divorcing their respective spouses.
ep. 80
Tae-hyeon becomes angry at Tae-hee when she tells him about the DNA test results. He demands that she tell him who put her up to this. Tae-hyeon tells her that he’ll kill anyone who says that Wu-ram is not his son and he tears up the DNA test results while she watches. Tae-hee is surprised by her brother’s rampage.
Ms. Song suddenly asks Gyeong-seon why she didn’t runaway when her son has been gone for so long. Gyeong-seon replies that she stayed because of her. Gyeong-seon is then surprised when Ms. Song tells her that she was harsh with her on purpose because she didn’t want Gyeong-seon to be unhappy in her marriage as she was. Mr. Yoon meets with Tae-hyeon and tells him that he wants to help him but Tae- hyeon declines coldly and walks away.
ep. 81
Tae-hyeon rejects Mr. Yoon’s offer of help and walks away. Troubled, Mr. Yoon orders his employees to find his daughter. Faced with Geon-wu’s firm resolve that he’s going to get a divorce as soon as they return to Seoul, Seo-gyeong is full of doubts and misgivings. When Ms. Song asks about the baby’s due date, Se-yeong is surprised. She asks Ms. Song how she knew but Ms. Song has gone senile again. Se-yeong begins to have doubts about Ms. Song’s claim that she was mean to Gyeong-seon because she hoped Gyeong-seon would runaway. Geon-wu comes home, aggressively demanding that Se-yeong sign the divorce papers.
ep. 82
Tae-hyeon warns Seo-gyeong not to even think about seeing Wu-ram anymore. Seo- gyeong becomes suspicious about the reason for Tae-hyeon’s anger and becomes worried. Although Wu-ram is crying desperately for his mother, Tae-hyeon mercilessly takes his son away. Jin-a tells Geon-wu that Se-yeong doesn’t want the divorce and asks him to come back. However, Geon-wu has already made his decision not to. Mr. Yoon meets with Se-yeong and thanks her for raising Jin-a so well. Se-yeong asks him not to meet Jin-a if he truly cares about her. Se-yeong visits Seo-gyeong’s hospital to confirm her pregnancy.
ep. 83
Seo-gyeong pronounces that Se-yeong pregnant and cries as she informs her that the baby is healthy and well. Se-yeong asks her to keep silent since she doesn’t want anyone to know and also tells her that she’ll make Geon-wu comeback to her but she won’t use her pregnancy to do so. Tae-hyeon tries to make a business comeback with So-young’s lands and So- young willingly trusts and helps him. So-young makes innuendos about how Wu- ram is a great artist and she wonders out loud about from whom he gets that talent from with a smirk on her face. Mr. Yoon meets with Gyeong-seon to talk about Seo-gyeong and Geon-wu. He explains about the reason behind his dumping her in the past and begs her for forgiveness.
ep. 84
Mr. Yoon becomes worried when he finds out that Geon-wu is trying to sell his hospital. Geon-wu wants to immigrate with Seo-gyeong and he tells Sang-jin to look for a new job soon. Sang-jin assures him that he’ll have no problem finding a new job. But he warns Geon-wu that Geon-wu’ll find life as a something other than a physician very difficult to live. Tae-hyeon launches his architecture firm with a help of his friend, Sang-chul. Wu- ram becomes angry at his dad’s strict warning not to see his mom and gives him the cold-shoulder treatment. So-young warns Seo-gyeong that Tae-hyeon is full of revenge and has started a new job. While hurrying to meet with Seo-gyeong, Geon-wu has a car accident.
ep. 85
Seo-gyeong feel bitter as she watches So-young replace her in a family dinner with Tae-hyeon, Wu-ram and others. When Wu-ram sees his mom, he tries to go to her but Mal-ja yells at Seo-gyeong to go away as she holds him back.
Tae-hyeon rejects Seo-gyeong. Seo-gyeong hears about Geon-wu’s car accident and hurries to the hospital. Se-yeong also finds out about the accident from Sang- jin and is shocked at the news. Gyeong-seon turns Seo-gyeong away when she sees her at the hospital. Tae-hyeon tells Seo-gyeong that everything is over and that he wants to finalize their divorce.
ep. 86
When Se-yeong insists that she’ll take care of Geon-wu, he is wary of her help. Se- yeong insists that she just doesn’t want a stranger taking care of him and assures him that she’ll go once he is well. While Se-yeong goes out for something, he calls Seo-gyeong and Se-yeong catches him in the act. Tae-hyeon and Seo-gyeong agrees to a divorce with Tae-hyeon having custody of their son. They go to the court to finalize it. Mr. Yoon tries to stop them but he is too late. They receive their copy of the divorce papers in silence. Se-yeong goes to Gui-ok’s restaurant to buy the soup that Geon-wu wants to eat. However, she becomes angry when Geon-wu insists on a divorce. While she is taking away the dishes, she suddenly feels nauseous.
ep. 87
Sang-jin tells Se-yeong that he hopes she’ll make a fresh start without any regrets but she replies that she can’t give up on her family. Sang-jin pities her and warns her of Geon-wu’s intention to sell his hospital and immigrate with Seo-gyeong. He also tells her that marrying Seo-gyeong has become Geon-wu’s life’s goal. Se- yeong is shocked anew when she hears about this. Geon-wu informs his mother of Seo-gyeong’s divorce and his intent on getting his divorce as soon as possible. Gyeong-seon warns him that she won’t tolerate his divorce but she can’t stop him. Mr. Yoon meets with Tae-hyeon and asks him to take Seo-gyeong back but Tae-hyeon shouts that that’s not possible. Se-yeong carefully prepares some dishes for Geon-wu. While visiting him at the hospital, she finds an earring on the floor and turns white at the implication.
ep. 88
Se-yeong finds Seo-gyeong’s earring at Geon-wu’s hospital room and yells at him in anger. Geon-wu tells her that Seo-gyeong has gotten a divorce and that Se- yeong can’t stop what is inevitable. Se-yeong tells him that she won’t give him a divorce not because she wants him but because she has to protect her family.
So-young calls Sang-jin and asks him to come to her birthday party with Tae-hee. Then she asks him whether Geon-wu has gotten a divorce yet. So-young tells Sang-jin that Se-yeong is pregnant but Sang-jin doesn’t relay that to Geon-wu.
Se-yeong calls the real estate agency that Geon-wu is using to buy his hospital.
ep. 89
Gyeong-seon goes to Geon-wu’s house to clean up when Se-yeong asked her to. Meanwhile, Jin-a meets Seo-gyeong who is waiting outside. Ji-woo is concerned by how Se-yeong is devoted to Geon-wu even when he’s trying to divorce her. But Se-yeong tells her that she can be stubborn too and that a divorce is not what she’s aiming for. Mr. Yoon warns Seo-gyeong to stay away from Geon-wu and that he’s going to drag her with him to the U.S even if he has to rent a private plane to do so. However, Seo-gyeong is firm in her resolve to go far away with Jin-a and Geon-wu.
Geon-wu comes home only to get his passport and his personal effects but he receives a strong set down from Ms. Song, who suddenly becomes lucid for a short term.
ep. 90
Seo-gyeong misses Wu-ram and goes to see Tae-hyeon for his permission. But Tae-hyeon denies her request saying that since she’ll be leaving soon, she shouldn’ t make things difficult for Wu-ram. Mal-ja locks Wu-ram in a room when he cries for his mother. Ji-woo goes to Se-yeong’s room for something and she finds a diary of Se-yeong’s pregnancy. She wonders why Se-yeong is keeping this secret when she’s wanted it for so long. Se-yeong hears that Sang-jin is soon to be married and she regrets that he’s not marrying Ji-woo. Tae-hyeon is full of thoughts of revenge and tries to buy Geon-wu’s hospital.
ep. 91
Geon-wu plans for his and Seo-gyeong’s immigration to a small seaside village in Australia. He is very excited about his plans and tells Seo-gyeong that living in that village is his dream come true. He wants to live there for the rest of his life with Seo- gyeong providing free medical services. However, Seo-gyeong is not so sold on the idea since she has a lot to deal with. Tae-wook can’t hide his secret any longer and confesses it all to Ji-woo. Tae-wook declares that no matter what happens, their love will not change. After Ji-woo finds out about her brother and Seo-gyeong’s relationship, she is stunned by the twisted fate. But she still wants to marry Tae-wook. So-young calls Geon-wu and insidiously asks him if Wu-ram is his child.
ep. 92
Ji-woo tells Gyeong-seon about Se-yeong’s pregnancy. Gyeong-seon is overjoyed. Gyeong-seon informs Geon-wu of Se-yeong’s pregnancy and tells him to come home but Geon-wu argues that Se-yeong must get an abortion because he doesn’t want the child. So-young blames Seo-gyeong for abandoning Wu-ram and proposes to Tae-hyeon. Tae-hyeon just stares at her without saying anything as So-young goes on about getting married so he can get back at his ex-wife. Tae-hyeon tells her that he can never erase the love for Seo-gyeong. So-young is so angered over this that she shouts at Tae-hyeon that Seo-gyeong is eating away at his soul.
Tae-hyeon sends his employee to Geon-wu to buy his hospital building.
ep. 93
Geon-wu meets with Se-yeong and asks her how she got pregnant. Se-yeong is speechless with anger as Geon-wu accuses her of lying to tie him to her. Se-yeong informs him that Seo-gyeong has confirmed her pregnancy and that she is not getting an abortion. While watching her parents fight, Jin-a declares that she will stay by Se-yeong’s side. Gyeong-seon tells Mr. Yoon about her daughter-in-law’s pregnancy and asks him to take care of things so that she can be at peace and enjoy this happy event. Mr. Yoon tells her that her son is as stubborn as his father and that if Geon-wu’s father hadn’t taken Gyeong-seon away from him, none of this would have happened. Gyeong-seon is confused by Mr. Yoon’s words and it just seems like excuses to her. Se-yeong tries to buy Geon-wu’s hospital and goes to see Tae-hyeon when she hears that he had already bought it.
ep. 94
When Se-yeong asks Tae-hyeon to sell Geon-wu’s hospital to her, he feels a maelstrom of emotions. She declares that she’s going to change the things back to the way they were and he gives her his business card and tells her that he’ll sell the hospital to her when she really needs it. Mr. Yoon meets with Jin-a and tells her that he is her grandfather and that he’ll help her get her father back home. Se-yeong knows that Mr. Yoon met with Jin-a but says nothing over it knowing that blood calls to its own. Meanwhile, Seo-gyeong sees a lover’s ring on So-young’s finger and becomes moody.
ep. 95
Tae-hyeon gives his wedding ring to Seo-gyeong and informs her that he’s going to marry So-young. Seo-gyeong is devastated and tells Geon-wu that she wants to immigrate as soon as possible. Gyeong-seon becomes worried when Se-yeong shows signs of miscarriage and tells her son to end his relationship with Seo- gyeong because her father is their enemy. But Geon-wu is firm in his resolve to marry Seo-gyeong. Geon-wu closes his hospital down and tells Jin-a that after he prepares their home in Australia, he’ll come back for her. But Jin-a replies not to bother because she’s never going to see him again. Seo-gyeong says good-bye to Wu-ram as well. The night before Geon-wu’s departure, Se-yeong goes to see him with Jin-a at his studio apartment.
ep. 96
Sang-jin and Tae-hee invite their parents to a small get-together to introduce each others familes. Bong-dal is wary of Sang-jin’s mother who seems formidable. Mal-ja becomes speechless with surprise when Sang-jin’s mother haughtily demands a house, a car and a hospital as Tae-hee’s dowry since Mal-ja will be gaining a doctor as her son-in-law. Geon-wu finishes packing and shows his airplane ticket to Se-yeong saying that their marriage is finally over. Jin-a tries to persuade him not to leave but it is no use. Geon-wu turns a cold shoulder to Se-yeong who is crying and begging him not to leave. Meanwhile, Mr.Yoon has arranged for a suspension of departure for Geon-wu and Seo-gyeong is stuck here as well.
ep. 97
Sang-jin’s mother visits Bong-dal’s home and is dissatisfied with the shabby home. She expects Bong-dal to provide a house to Sang-jin and Tae-hee when they get married since Bong-dal is a constructor. However, Mal-ja is so offended by her attitude that she tells Sang-jin’s mom that a doctor son-in-law is not so wonderful as she seems to think it is. Sang-jin’s mother is in turn offended by Mal-ja’s remark that she says she is going to have to rethink on the matter of her son’s marriage. Se-yeong becomes hopeful when she hears that Geon-wu hasn’t left the country. To prepare for his return, Se-yeong buys groceries and starts to cook but Geon-wu goes to see Seo-gyeong. But he suddenly can’t see and loses his balance. Meanwhile, Sang-jin calls Se-yeong and tells her that Geon-wu is at his studio apartment and encourages her to come meet him.
ep. 98
Se-yeong prepares the dish that Geon-wu likes and goes to see him at Sang-jin’s apartment. But Geon-wu tells her that Seo-gyeong is the only woman for him and treats her in a cold manner. While walking home in the rain, a devastated Se-yeong loses consciousness. So-young becomes worried when she hears that Seo-gyeong is still in Korea. Tae- hyeon also becomes annoyed when he hears that Geon-wu is at Sang-jin’s apartment from his friend Sang-chul. Tae-hyeon tries to calm So-young by telling her that everything is over between him and Seo-gyeong but So-young is still nervous as she prepares for her wedding. Se-yeong miscarries her baby and Sang-jin gives this news to Geon-wu.
ep. 99
Although the news of Se-yeong’s miscarriage brings a maelstrom of emotions, Geon- wu does not change his mind. Gyeong-seon cries with Jin-a when they hear about the miscarriage and says that her son will be punished by God. So-young prepares for her marriage and takes good care of Wu-ram. While watching So-young trying hard to be his daughter-in-law, Bong-dal feels regret that she is not Seo-gyeong. Tae-hyeon hears about Se-yeong’s miscarriage from Tae-hee and feels sorry for her.
ep. 100
Se-yeong becomes crazed from the shock of miscarriage. Jin-a and Gyeong-seon watches over her with saddened hearts. Ji-woo worries about her marriage with Tae-wook and Tae-wook suggests that they tell Tae-hyeon who she is. While trying to be a mother to Wu-ram, So-young tries to help Wu-ram with his school work and Wu-ram reluctantly obeys her. Seo-gyeong calls So-young who is with Tae-hyeon late at night and tells her to end things with Tae-hyeon. So-young laughs at Seo- gyeong’s concern. Se-yeong calls Geon-wu over and signs the divorce papers and throws a cup of tomato juice at him.
ep. 101
Se-yeong goes to see Seo-gyeong and after informing Seo-gyeong that she lost her baby, she throws water on Seo-gyeong’s face. Seo-gyeong holds on her temper and tries to reason with Se-yeong. But Se-yeong slaps Seo-gyeong and yells that she is going to press charges against her and Geon-wu for adultery. Seo-gyeong vows to herself that she’ll get Wu-ram back. So-young sees the locket with Seo-gyeong’s photo on Wu-ram’s neck and later she tears up the picture. When So-young makes Wu-ram lie to his father so that she can look good, he cries. Se-yeong goes to an expensive boutique and returns with a lot of shopping bags filled with clothes.
ep. 102
Gyeong-seon becomes worried about Se-yeong’s strange behavior. Se-yeong is very temperamental towards Gyeong-seon, Ji-woo and even Jin-a. Jin-a tries to talk to Se-yeong but she feels hurt when Se-yeong asks her to leave her alone. Geon-wu’s eyesight is failing rapidly but he dismisses it as a side effect of his car accident. When Wu-ram sees that Seo-gyeong’s picture is missing from his locket, he asks So-young where the picture is and she tries to placate him by telling him that she’ll get a photo of Tae-hyeon for his locket. Tae-wook and Ji-woo meet with Tae-hyeon and inform him that Ji-woo is Geon-wu’ s younger sister.
ep. 103
Se-yeong cuts off Geon-woo’s apology and tells him that she will send both Geon- wu and Seo-gyeong to jail. Se-yeong talks about how she can still hear her baby crying. Geon-wu and Gyeong-seon have nothing to say to relieve her pain. Se- yeong tells Geon-wu that he must also suffer the pain that she has suffered. Bong-dal grants Seo-gyeong’s wish to see Wu-ram. Bong-dal is afraid that Tae- hyeon will really marry So-young and Seo-gyeong shares her fears that Tae-hyeon is keeping So-young close out of revenge against her. Gyeong-seon tries to stop Se-yeong from pressing charges against Geon-wu. She is shocked when she hears that Wu-ram is actually Geon-wu’s son.
ep. 104
Se-yeong sues Seo-gyeong for having an affair with her husband. When Seo- gyeong receives a call from the police department, summoning her to the station, she is shocked. Geon-wu finds out that although Seo-gyeong is divorced, she and her ex-husband have not yet reported their divorce to the local government. Mr. Yoon brings Geon-wu and Seo-gyeong home. He faints when he is accused of hypocrisy by Geon-wu. Tae-wook and Ji-woo try to inform their respective parents about their love but have difficulties finding the right time to announce their news. Jin-a and Gyeong-seon become more worried about Se-yeong, who is becoming more and more unstable. Tae-hyeon goes to see Mr. Yoon at the hospital and runs into Geon-wu.
ep. 105
Geon-wu tells Tae-hyeon, who came to see Mr. Yoon at the hospital, not to meet Seo-gyeong anymore. Tae-hyeon stares coldly at Geon-wu as he tells him that he is only there to talk business. Seo-gyeong begs Tae-hyeon to reconsider his plans to marry So-young and he replies that So-young was the only one who was there for him when he was in dire straits and that he will make his second marriage work. When Geon-wu tells Se-yeong to drop the charges, she tells him to go away and take his family with him. Gyeong-seon has nothing to say to Se-yeong when she is in the right and just blames Geon-wu for his stupidity. Geon-wu vows that he’ll never forgive Se-yeong if she goes through with it. Meanwhile, Ji-woo finally confesses to Gyeong-seon that Tae-wook is Seo-gyeong’ s ex-brother-in-law.
