Plot

Saori Kimura and Yumika Yokoyama were close friends, similar to sisters, and star volleyball players in high school. Saori Kimura was picked for the national volleyball team. Yumika Yokoyama was shortly later diagnosed with the rare cancer rhabdomyosarcoma dashing away her hopes for a volleyball career. One month before Saori and the national team competed in the preliminaries for the 2008 Summer Olympics Yuika Yokoyama passed away ...

Based on the autobiographical novel by Yumika Yokoyama.
Mari Ochiai is a volleyball player who played on the national volleyball team. She trained lead actresses Saki Aibu & Manami Higa in volleyball and also played a supporting role in the movie.
